THIRD ANNUAL CASTROL® TECTION EXTRATM BIG HONKIN' TRUCK MAKEOVERTM CONTEST ROLLS OUT AT GATS

Last Year's Winning Truck to be Unveiled at GATS

Wayne, N.J. - (July 23, 2007) - Get in the driver's seat with Castrol, as it launches the third annual Castrol® Tection ExtraTM Big Honkin' Truck MakeoverTM contest where truck drivers nationwide will be given another chance to win a total internal, external and communications makeover valued at $50,000.

From August 23, 2007 - October 31, 2007 class 6-8 owner and owner/operators are encouraged to go to www.castroltruckmakeover.com to learn more about the contest and enter their truck to win. Entrants will be required to submit a vehicle photo and a 150 word essay describing why his or her truck deserves the makeover.

"The Big Honkin' Truck Makeover is Castrol's way of recognizing that an owner-operator's truck is critical to his or her business," said Tracy Drelich, Assistant Promotions Manager, from Castrol "We are searching the nation for the driver who is most deserving of the coveted prize, someone who lives for being on the road and wants to drive in style."

The first round of contest entries will be judged based on originality, creativity, relevance of essay to theme and photographic appeal. Three finalists will then be selected by Castrol and The Chrome Shop MafiaTM to advance into the final round. The final round of judging starts with online voting on the contest website, www.castroltruckmakeover.com, where site visitors can register and cast their vote for the grand prize winner from January 1, 2008 through February 28, 2008. Voting concludes at the Mid-America Trucking Show (March 27-28, 2008) where show attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote at Castrol Tection Extra booth. The grand prize winner will then be announced at a media event on the final day of the show, March 29, 2008.

Castrol will also be unveiling the winning truck of the second annual Big Honkin' Truck MakeoverTM contest. Kevin Greene, from Cincinnati, Ohio and his 1989 379 Peterbilt® beat out nearly 300 entrants to win the grand prize of a $50,000 one-of-a-kind truck makeover from The Chrome Shop Mafia.

"Winning this contest will change the way I do business on the road," said Greene. "The maintenance was becoming difficult to keep up with but thanks to the top-notch improvements that have been made I can be proud to be behind the wheel of my Peterbilt for many years to come."

The winning Peterbilt 379 to be unveiled has been completely renovated to have an "old school" look with modern state-of-the-art technology. Major improvements have been made on the truck such as stretching the length of the frame, replacing the sleeper, complete interior overhaul, new paint design and new electrical inside and out. The truck has also been equipped with features to help its efficiency and cut down on operating cost. A turbo wing was added to help with aerodynamics and a Go Green Fuel Hydrogen Enrichment system was installed which will allow the engine to burn cleaner, reduce emissions and increase horsepower along with gas mileage.

"We like to gather our inspiration from the truck owner's style," said Scott St. Germain, of The Chrome Shop Mafia and foreman on the build. "Kevin expressed his interest in the retro-look and that is what The Chrome Shop Mafia loves so we incorporated Kevin's taste with our expertise and creativity to design a truck that is a one-of-a-kind."

The following sponsors donated their products toward the truck renovation:

  • Go Green Fuel Hydrogen Enrichment Technology® system - hydrogen intake system for cleaner emissions and increased fuel efficiency

About Go Green Fuel NA and Hydrogen Enrichment Technology®
Lancaster based Go Green North America, Ltd. owns the exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights for the Go Green Fuel Hydrogen Enrichment Technology®. The Technology is being offered commercially in partnership with Go Green Fuel Systems, Inc.

The GGF HET is a precision controlled retrofit Hydrogen and Oxygen Enrichment System designed for fossil fuel powered internal combustion engines. The GGF HET features an advanced proprietary microprocessor and patented electrolysis fluid dynamics. Hydrogen is produced using a patented, non-corrosive anode engineered for one million miles of operation. The on-board on-demand hydrogen enrichment system provides a free flow system using a non-pressurized cathode filled with a de-ionized water and electrolyte mixture to move the hydrogen to the air intake of the engine. As a result, no engine modifications are needed and the warranty is not affected.

Field testing and product demonstrations with Dallas County Road and Bridge Trucks, Dallas County Schools and a number of private fleets have demonstrated an average 8% to 12% fuel mileage improvement. 40% plus reductions in NOx and 30% plus reductions in CO have been verified using accepted testing equipment from ECOM America.
